A consistent high offset (mean of 0.017) independant of depth and location is
present in the crs. Also, the carbon interconsistency check indicates too high
values but the mean offset is still within the limits (0.009). For now, ignoring
that many of the new JMA cruises show these high crs offsets I'd suggest a
downward adjustment to yield good carbon interconsistency at least. Adjust
downward.

pairs). Further, minimum depth is set to 2000m, crs are "school-book-like" and
offset is present at all cruise stations. Further MLR analyses support this
finding. Adjust downward, as there is enough evidence for an adjustment within
the limits.

A consistent high offset (mean of 0.017) independant of depth and location is
present in the crs. Also, the carbon interconsistency check indicates too high
values but the mean offset is still within the limits (0.009). For now, ignoring
that many of the new JMA cruises show these high crs offsets I'd suggest a
downward adjustment to yield good carbon interconsistency at least. Adjust
downward.

Tricky one… data seems consistently 1% high (consistent in depth and among crs
pairs). Further, minimum depth is set to 2000m, crs are "school-book-like" and
offset is present at all cruise stations. Further MLR analyses support this
finding. Adjust downward, as there is enough evidence for an adjustment within
the limits.
